On December 31st of 2010 we received our referral for Meron.
Meron was born in Golla, Ethiopia just 4 days before Alicia.
Golla is in a southern region of Ethiopia that is not accessible by plane. The region must be reached by bus.
Meron entered her orphanage on November 7th, of 2010.
She is very healthy an free of any communicable diseases.
At her last assessment on January 17th, she weighed 15.7 pounds and is 28.34 inches tall.
She is raising her head to 45 degrees while laying on her stomach.
All signs of her last assessment point to a very normal and healthy baby girl.
As a reminder, no pictures of Meron can be posted on the internet until after her adoption is complete. If we have emailed you any pictures of Meron, please use discretion and do not post those pictures on the internet. Posting of any pictures of Meron could jeopardize our adoption.
