Now we have concrete travel plans. We are leaving this Friday May 27th for Ethiopia. It's a long journey, we'll arrive Sat. May 28th around 9pm. Sunday we will go to church and be a part of a traditional Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony (they make the BEST coffee). Monday will be exciting and difficult at the same time. We will be meeting Meron's mother and spending some time with her before we go to the orphanage to pick up Meron. Tuesday is our Embassy appointment. I'm not sure what Wednesday holds for us at this point. Thursday we will be able to pick up her travel documents to leave the country and Friday night we leave. Flights leaving the country out of Addis depart late at night....so we don't leave until 11pm. With a 1 year old that's gonna be rough! We arrive Sat. June 4th around 11am. I'm not really looking forward to the travel part, it's a tough journey. We will do our best to post as often as we can, internet is spotty and not predictable. We can't wait to introduce you all the our wonderful new addition.
